Warman is located in Saskatchewan, Canada, and is a bedroom community of Saskatoon, which is 12 miles away.

Warman is a very new city, having been incorporated on October 27, 2012. The community had been born in 1904 when the Canadian Northern Railway arrived. It became a village in 1906, but returned to a hamlet status in 1927 when the population dropped to a mere 148 people. It again became a village in 1962 and then a town in 1966. When the population grew to 7084, it applied for city status.

Unfortunately, in 1910, a fire destroyed most of the town including the majority of the businesses on Main Street. Years later, only houses were built on Main Street.

The original name of the town was "Diamond" because the crossing of two railroad lines created a diamond shape. Soon, however, the name was changed to Warman to honor Cy Warman, a local journalist.

The city encourages residents to lead a healthy lifestyle and provides high quality and affordable recreation services such as parks, playgrounds, fitness programs, sports, special events, and arts and culture organizations.

Silverbell Charity Golf Tournament. This three-person Scramble will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at The Legends. Open to all skill levels, there will be 27 holes and will include a power cart, lunch, supper, Silent Auction, raffles, prizes and more.

Halloween Howl. Will be on October 31st from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with games and fun for all ages.

Santa's Workshop. Santa and his elves will be at The Legends Centre on Saturday, November 29. From 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. will be pictures with Santa, a North Pole Mailbox to deposit letters to Santa, a free public skate, sleigh rides, and more. At 6:30 p.m. will be fireworks. The cost is only $2.00 per child or $5.00 for the whole family.

City of Warman Christmas Party. Will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014.
